Rich Homie Quan being denied entry in Club LIV early Monday morning allegedly led to a fight with a security guard and potential battery charges being filed against him.

According to WSVN, Quan and his entourage attempted to enter the club via a back VIP door but were informed by a security guard, Christian Cajigas that the club had reached capacity. A fight then broke out according to the guard’s lawyer, Joshua Hertz. “The club was at capacity and he told him he had to go around the front and wait like everybody else and that’s when this rapper who thought that he was above the law, that he’s not the average person and he could get in anyway he wanted to,” Hertz said.

Cajigas claims that Quan told him that he was “Rich Homie Quan” and a “rich millionaire” before threatening to rush the VIP area. He also claims that Quan hit him with several punches, rendering him with a bruised nose and a busted lip. “The rapper was the first person to throw a punch. He’s the one that him right there in the nose. Square in the nose,” Hertz said.

After Quan and his entourage joined in on the fight, the group fled across Collins Avenue to a nearby speedboat according to reports. Cajigas remained at LIV with his injuries. My client’s injuries are to the nose. He’s not sure, but he may have a broken nose. He has cuts and bruises to his face, back of his head and he has chips from his front teeth,” Hertz said.
