The West Coast to Houston thing was Mac Fame’s thing at first, jumpy like early Ludacris flows with the gleam and charm of any cocksure rapper on the rise. Now Mac Fame’s back to the West Coast, enjoying the California sun and plenty of synth ready production for him to jump on. “Doin My Job,” the lead track from his upcoming Return Of The Mac project features Ill Faded tossing an avalanche of bed squeaking synths together along with some booming bass for Mac to warp his flow around. Being confident about taking chicks and counting money has always been one of Mac’s major fortes.

The cover art to “Doin My Job” may be a bit misleading considering there’s no hints of Kill At Will era Ice Cube but there’s still plenty of Mac doing Mac Fame things. Stream it below.
