“You might need to taste the rainbow.”

Conan O’Brien’s “Clueless Gamer” series has always been a source of laughs and envy. Laughs because Conan’s facial expressions and commentary are always hilarious, and envious because its contestants always get to preview a brand new game prior to its launch date.

And so, in the spirit of Super Bowl XIX coming up this Sunday, Conan invited the Seattle Seahawks’ Marshawn Lynch and The New England Patriots’ Rob Gronkowksi onto his show for a “Big Game Showdown” edition of “Clueless Gamer” last night, with the video game of choice being the upcoming Mortal Kombat redux.

Of course, the big question on everyone’s mind is the very one Conan poses before the games ever begin – will Marshawn Lynch actuaaly speak?

Oh, but speak he does.

In fact, Beast Mode knows why he’s here – free from the confines of the pushy press, he’s genuinely at ease button-mashing alongside Gronk. What ensues between the two is ten minutes of laugh-out loud quotables, fatalities, Skittles, touchdown celebrations, Conan assuming the fetal position, a prescription drug promo, and one must-see moment where Marshawn describes his passion for Mario Kart.

At this point, I’d pay actual money to see Marshawn Lynch be on “Clueless Gamer” every week.
