Today¬†IGN has revealed a new beautiful piece of concept art regarding the highly anticipated Star Wars: Battlefront video game. We finally are getting a small glimpse regarding the Frostbit Engine 3 software that is being used to create the game. We still don’t know much about the game since the last time we have heard anything from EA and DICE was from E3 2014. In the art we see some Rebels ready to attack Empire Stormtroopers and an AT-ST with one already one the ground in the forest of Endor.



What we know so far is that the game is set to come out in Winter 2015 and EA’s chief financial officer Blake Jorgenson stated that it will release “before Christmas”. What makes this even greater is that this is releasing around the same time as Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. It is good to see that us Star Wars fans wont be left in the dust this year. While they are still developing the game EA and DICE did leave us with a trailer of Starwars Battlefront at E3 2014.

EA and DICE are working hard in order to live up to the expectations of fans everywhere and with passionate developers at hand this game will be an all time favorite. With using photogrammetry the developers are able to grab detail at it’s finest in order to make this game amazing. EA has described the game as “The ultimate Star Wars battle experience” but is also aiming to be the “Best Star Wars shooter of all time”. More information about the game will be released in the Spring 2015.

Star Wars: Battlefront will be releasing on PS4, Xbox One, and PC in Winter 2015.
