Using Ellen as the place to debut his more intimate videos of late, Kanye West chose a rainy, soggy day to spend some quality time with his daughter North for “Only One”. The track, written from the perspective of Kanye’s mother Dr. Donda West who passed in 2007, premiered on New Year’s Day and is slated to appear on West’s upcoming seventh studio album which at the moment doesn’t have a title. There are plenty of tender moments in the short but sweet Spike Jonze directed clip. West holds his daughter aloft, starring into her lovingly and as rain begins to come down, he snuggly pulls a hoodie over her head. It’s tender, it’s definitely one of those “protect your ovaries from going into overdrive” moments and you can watch it below.

In the interview with Ellen, Kanye revealed that he and wife Kim Kardashian are planning on having more kids, his adidas collaboration and why his original partnership with Nike fell through.
