Stream The Suffers’ Debut EP, ‘Make Some Room’ [@thesuffers] Brandon Caldwell January 15, 2015 Album Streams, MP3s, Music As often as The Suffers have killed it at various festivals left and right, the Houston based band created by Adam Castaneda & Pat Kelly in 2011 hasn’t fully flexed their muscle yet. As a collective, they’re a constantly moving unit, expertly fronted by the powerful and sultry Kam Franklin. 2011 is now 2015 and the band has determined that enough’s enough, it’s time to give the fans what they want in the form of a full length project. Late last month the group debuted “Make Some Room”, the title track from their upcoming EP. Now Consequence Of Sound is premiering said EP from the 10-piece Houston band, a dashing mix of neo-soul and funk. “Gwan” stretches and flays about in a parade of stomping horns and jukes and “Giver”, sensual down to every coo and raspy dance, feels like a lover leaving kisses on every bit of sensitive skin you have. Stream the EP in full from The Suffers over at Consequence Of Sound.
