Get ready SPN family, for your beloved Winchesters are returning for an eleventh season. The CW’s Supernatural just announced today that they have been renewed for another season, as they quote on their Facebook page, “…it’s all thanks to you #SPNFamily.”

What will the plot be exactly? Throughout the fandom, the reviews on the past season have been up and down, not quite sure on where the show is exactly headed. But reading some of the Facebook comments on the announcement post, a fan said “As much as I love this series, it’s had more downs recently than ups! I really hope that they bring it for Season 11!” while another said “Hopefully they come up with something good.”  Knowing how well the writers and creators have kept continuity going throughout the past ten years with this show, they’ll probably come up with something to please the fandom, perhaps even writing the conclusion…?

The show will be returning with their season 10 winter premiere on January 20th, where we were left off with Dean (Jensen Ackles) slaying a group of men when he really didn’t have to, leaving little bro Sam (Jared Padalecki) wondering if the Mark of Cain is still affecting Dean or not. Will Dean become a demon again like at the beginning of this past season? Or will he overcome the dreaded Mark? Tune in on January 20th.
