With the calendar flipping over to another year, Doeman figures there’s no sense in attempting to wait on a right time to release something. In honor of his mother, the Mexican-American rapper does it for his heritage and those trying their hardest to cross the border on “January 28th (Queen Elizabeth)”. Lifting J.Cole’s own “January 28th” from 2014 Forest Hills Drive, Doeman is about as eased and thankful as it gets from him. He admirably spits, “Fuck your color, they hate us all,” while discussing brown and black pride in the face of adversity, still keeping his eye on the prize for everybody.
