Slim Thug Shows You How to Boss Up with “Boss Life” Lifestyle Brand [@SlimThugga] Monica Jones December 23, 2014 Fashion, Lifestyle, Sneakers 1 Comment Once again Slim Thug shows us why he continues to remain relevant after a 15-year span in the game as one of Houston’s legends. The boss of all bosses is widening his brand appeal with the re-launch of his lifestyle and apparel brand “Boss Life”. The Boss Life lifestyle brand has a variety of products ranging from T-shirts and hoodies that bear the Boss Life seal, hats, socks, and even e-cigars. Last year after the release of the highly anticipated Boss Life album Slim began hosting spontaneous pop-up shops throughout Houston selling Boss Life T-shirts and CDs to build a buzz in the streets and most importantly to return a profit. Slim understands the bigger picture and relied on his business acumen to leverage the success of the early 90s “Pop Trunk” era where local spitters would offer up their latest musical effort from the back of their trunks. While the culture of selling directly to the consumer peaked at the popularization of digital downloads, Slim has managed to keep the essence of the era alive most recently. Back in early November Thugga hosted the first of many pop-up shops in Houston at Exotic Diamonds Jewelry Store for a first look at the new addition to the Boss Life brand. Taking a leap into high-end fashions the Boss Life brand has collaborated with longtime Italian designer and retailer Galiano Italy to release a collection of luxury footwear. The handmade line features a 100% Italian snakeskin which elevate the aesthetics of the shoe. The all leather high-tops come in four different colors; Red/White, Black/Red, White/Navy and Maroon/Navy and retail at $525 adding value to the “Boss Life” mantra. The elegance and quality of the collection offered aligns with Galiano’s reputation to provide the most luxurious brands and fashions in the Naples area. The rival to Slim’s favorite red bottom kicks can be purchased online at the revamped www.bosslifeworld.com and retailers like Exclusive Taste in Houston and Guns and Roses Boutique in Dallas, TX. With the introduction of female apparel to the line, a short-film documentary, and new music on the horizon Slim Thug has his hands full balancing every facet of his brand like a true boss. Slim’s also set to reveal more of his own personal “Boss Life” with a documentary chronicling his time in the game. See the trailer to Hogg Life, directed by DJ Young Samm below.
