The last time Will Smith played an engaging con man, it was 20 years ago when he first gained serious acting praise for his role in Six Degrees Of Separation. Now Will is back to being charming, sliding away from shying families away from him being not only gay but not what he seems but pulling off bigger cons in Focus, this time alongside Margot Robbie (Suicide Squad, The Wolf of Wall Street).

Smith here is an experienced con man who’s set to train Robbie into becoming one of his own. The usual kicks off in Focus where Smith and Robbie have great chemistry, emotions get involved and then the one big con at the Super Bowl they want to pull turns sour. Pretty intriguing to see how the two play opposite one another considering the original plans for Focus were set to involve Ben Affleck and Kristen Stewart. Yeesh.

Focus opens next February.
