All is not well in the house of Young Money/Cash Money it would seem. With his album presumably set to be released next Tuesday, Lil Wayne took to Twitter on Thursday to voice displeasure with his longtime label Cash Money and mentor Birdman not just over the release of Tha Carter V but his creativity in general.

“To all my fans, I want u to know that my album won’t and hasn’t been released bekuz Baby & Cash Money refuse to release it,” Wayne said. “It’s not my fault and I am truly and deeply sorry to all my fans but most of all to myself and my family for putting us in this situation. I want off this label and nothing to do with these people … I am a prisoner and so is my creativity.”

The label is all systems go with Nicki Minaj’s The Pinkprint to land in less than two weeks time. Wayne’s displeasure has already yielded to plenty of industry chatter, including a few jokes from known YMCMB antagonist Pusha T.

“If u wanna drop albums & don’t want your CEO’s rubbing they hands all in your videos, COME TO GOOD MUSIC!! (Suge Knight voice),” Pusha tweeted. He then screenshot lyrics from his subliminal diss track, “Exodus 23:1.”
