With Quantum of Solace being the final adaptation from the successful Bond book series, and its movie studio MGM filing for bankrupcy it was questioned whether or not Bond would see the big screen again. After the release and world-wide success of Skyfall, it appears that Bond will live to die another day.

The Bond franchise is beginning to flourish beautifully with actor Daniel Craig at the healm. This morning in the UK a celebration was held as MGM released the detail for the 24th installment of the film. Rumors circulated that the next installment would indeed be called Bond 24, but the poster below shows that the studio has something else in mind.

Now of course there would be a slew of question throw at the director of the film Sam Mendes. He took quick to all inquiries with this statement:

Those of you who have some knowledge of the Bond franchise and the legend of Bond will probably have some idea what that refers to. But I couldn’t possibly comment.”

Now that we have the title of the film, Mendes would give us another golden nugget revealing the “Bond Car.” Ladies and Gentlemen Bond’s car

Mendes referred to the Bond car as the “non-human” cast member before releasing the official line up of the Spectre film.  Of course we shall see the return  of cast members Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes as M, Ben Whishaw as Q, and Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny. But It was the new kids on the 007 block that made me excited like a fat kid at christmas.

One of my favorite up and coming wrestler turned actor Dave Bautista was cast as henchman Mr. Hinx. He recently proved himself to be more than just muscle with his standout role as Drax the destroyer in Guardians of the Galaxy. I look forward to watch Batista slap around Bond in some form or fashion. Next are the “Bond Girls.” My previous speculations that actress Lea Seydoux (Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol) would grace us as the coveted Bond Girl was spot on as she will portray Madeleine Swann. But Seydoux will also have to share the Bond girl title with Monica Bellucci (Matrix Reloaded) as Lucia Sciarra.

I’m impressed at how the Bond girls are beginning to be targeted more toward international beauty rather than the star power of the actress. We also have Andrew Scott(Sherlock) playing Mr. Denbigh, a new member in the Whitehall Brigade. Not much detail was given about the character. Rumors speculated that Scott would play the villain of the film. Could we possible have a mole situation in MI6?

Last and certainly not least. The recent rumor have been brought to life as Mendes announced the main villain of the film would be Christoph Waltz as Oberhauser. A little note about the name, translated in English stand for “the House of Lords.” Take that information as you will.

Spectre will dawn the theaters on November 6, 2015.
