Wendy Davis wasn’t going to beat the overwhelming Republican majority to become governor of Texas. The results of last night’s election proved that and then some. Davis lost to her opponent, Attorney General Greg Abbott by 22 points, 60 percent to 38 percent. However, that didn’t stop her from showing up to the polls yesterday understanding that she is for the children.

Rocking a Wu-Tang pullover with her name in place of the crew that represents the RZA, the GZA, Inspectah Deck, Method Man, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Raekwon, U-God, Ghostface Killah and others, Davis pretty much got as casual as you can get. The scary part about her campaign is the overwhelming support she received from black voters in Texas and latin women. Abbot on the other hand won the female vote overall by 9 percent.
