George Miller stated that 2015 will belong “To the Mad” and Miller didn’t disappoint with the release of the official brutal, bone-crushing, lighting storm, car crashing trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road.

The trailer plunges the audience back into the post-apocalyptic vehicular warfare of Max Rockatansky who is betrayed by Tom Hardy. Before you ask, there is no need to worry about a Bane voice over in this film.

But what audiences should know that this marks the return of director George Miller who brought us the original trilogy staring Mel Gibson and Tina Turner. With nearly 30 years and a new age of visual effects we can once again enter into a world of fire and blood. Nicholas Hoult, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Nathan Jones, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and others also star in Mad Max: Fury Road, which bursts into theaters May 15, 2015.
