Doeman - FWMUKIGI_freestyle

Jay-Z and Rick Ross’s “F*ckWitMeYouKnowIGotIt” is nearly a year old – yes, it’s really been a year since Magna Carta Holy Grail was released – and yet there’s still some staying power in the song itself, if not in its instrumental.

That instrumental is the victim of Houston rapper Doeman’s newest freestyle, a two-and-a-half minute sh*t talking, “I’m the man in my city, or at least I’m about to be” session filled with quotables galore. Perhaps the biggest takeaway from the freestyle is how Doeman truly makes the song his own. Unlike the original, upon which both Hov and Officer Ricky embraced a slow flow capitalized with punchlines, Doe raps at a blistering pace and barely takes a breather as he rips the beat to shreds.

No word on whether or not “#FWMYKIGI” will make an appearance on Doeman’s upcoming #GoldBlooded LP, but nonetheless, it’s hard not to beat your chest proudly when the song concludes and the rapper all but proclaims, “H-Town… we back!”
