With the WWE universe on his shoulders after becoming a 15-time champion, how on earth could John Cena concentrate on doing anything else? We found out soon enough. Cena is diving back into the movie biz with two of comedy’s influential female players, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, in the upcoming movie The Nest. The film has Fey and Poehler playing a pair of sisters that decide to throw a massive house party after finding out their parents have sold their childhood homes and demand that the sisters clear out their things. Let’s face it, who wouldn’t want to throw one last bash before moving out, right?

The premise sounds promising given the talent of the comedic power duo. But if that alone wasn’t enough to intrigue the moviegoer, rumors are spreading that Cena is set to play….wait for it….a villain!!!!!

That’s right. The man who has built his career on being the good guy will play an antagonist to Fey and Poehler. There is no word yet on the specifics of Cena’s character. We do know that Cena is great when it comes to action, comedy, and even in dramatic roles, but what impact will he have playing a bad guy? More importantly, could this possibly transition to the WWE Ring in the heel turn fans have hoped and clamored for for years?

We’ll find out when The Nest parties its way into theaters next year, on December 18th, 2015.
