There is still 2 years until my dream becomes reality with the release of X-Men: Apocalypse. The anticipation is like a mosquito on your leg, a pain. Somehow Bryan Singer must feel my pain as he took to his instagram account and released the first official photo of the film. No caption needed as it is a clear definite that this photo show the finished working treatment for X-Men: Apocalypse. I left my imagination fill in the blanks that the photo did not show as far as the opening scene, but it appears it will begin in Egypt after a massacre with has left the area in blazing rubble. Before we are introduced to the Iconic Apocalypse we meet his deadly minions: The Four Horsemen. For those that aren’t familiar with this group, the Four Horsemen are made up of powerful mutants that serve under the rule of Apocalypse. Now these mutants consistently change so no definite on what characters will be featured in this film, but the normal alias Death, Famine, Pestilence and War will still be given to whomever has the role. The film has been confirmed to take place in 1983, which is 20 years after the first relaunch film, X-Men: First Class, and is primarily draw the focus on the characters from that film. Rumors circulate that productions is looking to cast younger versions of select characters from the original X-men Trilogy. I’ll be in line when X:Men: Apocalypse hits theaters May 27, 2016
