Sorry Kids, Lil Wayne’s Not Retiring After ‘Tha Carter V’ [@LilTunechi #C5] Kelsey McDaniel June 19, 2014 Interviews, Music, News Earlier this year, Lil Wayne confirmed the long awaited release of Tha Carter V as well as stating that it would be his final album and retirement would follow. Yesterday, on the 17th Episode of the “Weezy Wednesdays” Vlog series, he announced that not just one but two albums will be released this year. The rumored second album does not have a title but he jokingly referred to it as The Other Album. He explained that while working on the original album, so much music materialized that either The Carter V would have to be “93 songs” or multiple albums would be released. Wayne also mentioned dropping 7 albums next year. It seems a little far fetched but, even if all of this is just Weezy being Weezy, it seems that he does not still intend on retiring after The C5.
