Jack Freeman - Bliss EP_cover

premiereEarlier this year, it appeared like Jack Freeman was preparing for a grand return in 2014 after a mostly quiet 2013 with his “50 First Dates” single. But then Jack went quiet. Or so it seemed.

It turns out that “50 First Dates” was one part of an elaborate scheme the Houston crooner had planned to fully corner the city’s limited R&B market and provide us with enough “built for the boo” music to last us for the rest of the year. While “50 First Dates” will live on Freeman’s upcoming untitled album, we won’t have to wait as long for new music from the singer. Freeman will release an EP, entitled Bliss next week, and we’ve been fortunate enough to get our hands on an exclusive leak from the project, “Mr. Incredible.”

With the The Problem Solvers on the boards handling production duties, the stage is set on “Mr. Incredible” for Jack to do what he does best – tap into a soulful appeal to the women in his best Gerald LeVert impression, over subtle piano keys and an instrumental that sounds lifted up from early 90s R&B.

Jack Freeman’s Bliss EP, on which “Mr. Incredible” appears, touches down June 17th, though you can pre-order the album now through iTunes or the singer’s Bandcamp page.
