As dogged as the Nike LeBron XI has been for the NBA’s most marketable player, it hasn’t slowed him on the court. Opted between the Soldier and sometime the XI this season, LeBron James has made it to yet another Finals — and brought a little bit of flair on his feet with him.

The Nike LeBron XI Elite “Finals” made its debut yesterday during shootaround for Game 1 of the Finals in San Antonio and the shoe looks quite intriguing from an aesthetic standpoint. There’s a black base with eye-popping horizontal striping, the Nike swoosh dipped in gold and an icy clear outsole. The shoe also pays homage to the two previous Elite models in the LeBron line.

Will the King wear them tonight to do battle against the Spurs? We know he may never wear the “2K14” version of the LeBron XI which are both gaudy and performance based but it’s all about LeBron and judging from his kick choice for the majority of the season, the Soldier model has won out.

We’ll see when Game 1 of the NBA Finals tip off.
