Up until it’s May 13th release, Sony will be releasing a record from Michael Jackson’s “contemporized” Xscape album. Tonight they’ve let go of “Chicago”, the Timbaland produced cut filled with plenty of low-fi band like horns and drums. Originially titled “She Was Lovin’ Me” in 1999, the track was originally set to appear on Jacksons’ 2001 album Invincible. Timbaland talks recording Xscape with Billboard, “There was moments where I broke down. It was very hard to do. I’m like, ‘I’m doing Michael Jackson but I can’t talk to him. So how do I channel him?’”

Stream “Chicago” below. Sony’s set to release another Xscape cut at midnight.
