The Boondocks Go Broke In “Good Times” Brandon Caldwell April 28, 2014 TV/Movies Two episodes into the new season of The Boondocks and my reservations about this particular arc haven’t been fully realized just yet. Certain moments of course have been funny, others just a bit groan inducing. Fans of the show are going to have to slowly detach themselves from the realization that Aaron McGruder didn’t steer the ship this go round and take The Boondocks now as they are. Here, Granddad breaks the truth to the boys that they’re broke — to the point where Ed Wuncler Jr. steps in and Eddie Griffin somehow gets to sublet their Woodcrest estate. Watch below.
