In the land of R&Beef, August Alsina and Trey Songz happens to be a thing because the 21-year old artist from New Orleans isn’t quite fond of the “Na Na” singers “fakeness”. Apparently August isn’t one for dealing with egos and when the question was brought up for the fiftyleventh time on BET’s 106 & Park yesterday, Aug wasn’t having any of it.

August’s debut album Testimony is in stores as of yesterday and while he stood on the 106 & Park stage to promote the album via interviews from Bow Wow & Keisha Chanté, he also told them beforehand not to ask him about the Trey situation.

Well, as any good interviewer would do, Chanté proceeded to ask anyway and in one of the better #RNS moments you might get this year, AA immediately checked her, 106 & Park and anybody else who wanted to ask him about Trey Songz.

“So you just gon’ go against the grain and just go against everything that I just… I just told y’all not to ask me that shit when I got up in here.”

That’s right America, don’t ask August about Trey Songz even though we actually got the chance to do so and pulled it off. Testimony in stores now.
