To firmly gauge what Big K.R.I.T.’s six day excursion of new music did in the leadup to Cadillactica, we’ll have to wait until the LP arrives in the Fall. Fans will have their select choices of which track was their favorite between “Egyptian Cotton”, “Steps” or even “New Agenda” or even the Third Coast meets hints of Midwest & NYC with “Lac Lac”. Thing is, we got to enjoy Big K.R.I.T. in his element, a champion of Southern rap’s rich tapstry and a descendant of those Suave House pressed up maxi singles and bowling ball gleaming slabs.

VIBE premires the trailer to Cadillactica, allowing us a small glimpse into where K.R.I.T.’s head is on this go round. We’ll admit, we may have overranked Live From The Underground due to being overly enamored with Krizzle’s previous consistency but then we got King Remembered In Time and things sort of fixed themselves right up.
