The Game’s ‘Robin Hood Project’ Celebrates Raising Half A Million Dollars [@missdimplez @thegame] Brandon Caldwell February 19, 2014 Music, News Next year marks a decade since Jayceon Taylor released the most sonically acclaimed debut album from a West Coast rapper since Doggystyle in The Documentary and since then he’s either been a hero to some or a pain in the neck to others. However, there shouldn’t be any knocks on The Game for his charitable efforts, especially that of his Robin Hood Project which recently surpassed over $500,000 in donations, all of which since August. To hear him tell it, “The charity [is] set up by me to give back to the community… I figured once you have everything as a celebrity, once you have money, once you have cars, once you have family, once you have fans, once you have been around the world, what else is there to do besides start giving back? So, I created the Robin Hood Project for positivity, for giving back, and to help those in need. There are people who are struggling with a couple hardships in their life, and it’s on me to help them… You know, the Robin Hood Project has reached 500,000 thousand dollars, which is half a million dollars in donations since the month of August. So this is what’s popping.” Just to celebrate this, he held a charity bowling tournament over the weekend with guests including his BFF Khloe Kardashian, Too Short, Jackie Long, Malika Haqq, Justin Combs and more.
