A Third ‘Best Man’ Movie Is Coming, So Says Morris Chestnut Brandon Caldwell December 21, 2013 TV/Movies 1 Comment One of my minor fails this holiday season is that I still haven’t seen The Best Man Holiday. I know, squiring boo things to watch pretty damn good “race themed” (I kid) films isn’t as easy to pull off as you think. Nevertheless, the success of the sequel has led writer/director Malcolm D. Lee to consider a third film — which star Morris Chestnut has already confirmed is in the works. Oh, MINOR SPOLIER ALERT below if you haven’t seen the film yet. Speaking to Hot 93.7’s Jenny Boom Boom, Chestnut said, “[Malcom] has only told me about a few of the details for the movie… but I do not know who Terrence is gonna marry,” he said. “All I know is, it’s gonna be really interesting.” You could tell from the first film that Terrence Howard was added to be the glue guy, a character who offered more levity and humor to some pretty emotional situations. We all have that friend who tries to spin things into a positive or highlight how absurd certain things are. At least we know we’re not going to have to wait another 14 years for a sequel.
