Dante Higgins & Undergravity act like the Third Ward verison of Three The Hard Way. Seeing that Undergravity’s own brand of space age funk and ’90s revitalism has carried them to a pretty interesting plateau of both underrated and overlooked in the city, combining them with Higgins near all-world freestyle capabilities and storytelling seemed like a no brainer. Thus, we have The Freshest MCs, a tape embroiled in mixtures of Houston rider excursions, club music of both varities (nobody should leave out the strippers) and the Underdawgs nifty mix of keeping themselves in a time warp and bringing the Hig Heads along with them.
