Damn near a year away from Rochelle Jordan is a year I don’t want to spend again. Okay, that’s some fun hyperbole but the Toronto singer has spent a lot of the year not in the studio per se but still making waves. She co-wrote Donald Glover’s “Telegraph Ave.” from because the internet, was nominated for a SiriusXM Indie Award for Soul/R&B Artist of the Year and toured with Jessie Ware. Not a bad year when many thought you were on the low.

“Follow Me” is the first offering from RoJo’s upcoming EP set to debut at the top of 2014. With her partner-in-crime KLSH in tow, the sounds emanating from my speakers are just another sultry reminder of why I swooned over her music to begin with.
