Yes, the big rock album of the year has finally arrived. Arcade Fire’s follow up to their Grammy-award winning The Suburbs is here in Reflektor (out October 29th on Merge) and early returns have it being big but possibly too big, that there’s a faux Smiths record on here and the official stream of it is set to the 1959 film Black Orpheus. So what do you say about an album that was recorded over the course of three years that drew inspiration from the Clash, reggae and LCD Soundsystem producer James Murphy who helped steer this boat.
