There’s always some good news and bad news attached to anything A Tribe Called Quest related. After reuniting to play a gig with Prince at SXSW this year (pictured above), the group played and headlined a few shows during the course of the summer. After getting word that they’ll be played two dates of Kanye West’s upcoming Yeezus tour in New York City, Q-Tip revealed on Twitter that those two shows would be the group’s last — for now.

The group will make an appearance at two Yeezus stops, first on November 20th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and on November 24th inside of Madison Square Garden. Having not released an album since 1998’s The Love Movement and still technically bound to one last album on Jive, Phife, Q-Tip, Ali & Jarobi have toured sporadically since their initial 2004 reunion at Rock The Bells, most of it documented in the Michael Rappaport documentary “Beats, Rhymes And Life: The Travels Of A Tribe Called Quest”.
