Nipsey Hussle - Crenshaw_cover

Nipsey Hussle’s CRENSHAW mixtape is headed our way in exactly two weeks, and it might be just what the doctor ordered to get us started on fall music selections. While the rest of us slept last night, Nipsey gave fans and hip-hop heads alike a preview of what’s to come next month by unveiling CRENSHAW’s official tracklisting.

Hosted by DJ Drama, CRENSHAW bears features from the likes of Dom Kennedy (who apparently STILL hasn’t Gotten Home Safely since the summer was stolen from him), Rick Ross, James Fauntleroy, Z-Ro, Slim Thug, and more. And while Neighborhood Nip’s known to hold it down for the West Coast, the spirit of Houston will likely find its way onto the album, if not through the presence of Thugga and The Mo. City Don, then certainly on the track entitled “H-Town” (which, ironically enough, doesn’t feature any artists from Houston). Production credits, meanwhile, will come from 9th Wonder, The Futuristics, Teeflii, and Mike Free to name a few.

Previous releases “All Get Right” and “Face The World” will appear on CRENSHAW, as will “Checc It Out” (which some may recognize from the Grand Theft Auto V Soundtrack). While the Slim Thug and Z-Ro collab “Go Long” is sure to be a banger, the fact that Neighborhood Nip was able to draw Sade out of her usual eight-years-wait-til-my-next-album seclusion makes “If U Were Mine” one of the tape’s most anticipated tracks.

Peep the tracklist after the jump. Nipsey Hussle’s CRENSHAW mixtape, hosted by DJ Drama, arrives October 8th.
