Paula Deen Apologizes For Using ‘N-Word’, Still May Use #PaulaDeenRecipes Day & A Dream Team June 21, 2013 Flicks 1 Comment In a heavily edited clip, Paula Deen apologized for using the ‘N-word’ in a deposition of her workplace discrimination lawsuit. She doesn’t specifically admit to using the N-word but if you’ve been following the story then you know what was said and how many racist jokes she dropped just like butter in a skillet. “I’ve made plenty of mistakes along the way, but I beg you, my children, my team, my fans, my partners — I beg for your forgiveness. Please forgive me for the mistakes that I’ve made.” She also didn’t bring up apologizing for her ludicrously great cooking skills that is almost the recipe of every black Southern grandmother but we digress. She cancelled an appearance on the Today show today, instead opting for this video message which she announced on Twitter.
