Nitty Scott, MC - Flower Child (f. Kendrick Lamar)

It seems as though Day & A Dream’s other listed #BreakoutQueen – besides that Jean Grae individual – Nitty Scott, MC, has preferred to hustle on the low where her peers have been much more in the spotlight. Scott dropped off the first single for her The Boombox Diaries, Vol. 1 project, “Flower Child” featuring Kendrick Lamar, towards the close of 2012, followed by “Planes Trains & Automobiles” and then afterwards fell back off radar. Not to worry, though. Today, Emcee MC returned to the forefront with the release of her music video for her “Flower Child” single.

Anthony Sylvester of LPZ Media handles direction of the “Flower Child” visuals, depicting the femcee’s track legs yes, Lawd wandering through a neighborhood wearing a dress and flowery-headdress. Kendrick’s voice makes an appearance in the “Flower Child” video even though his person does not; but beneath the surface of Nitty Scott’s self-proclaimed “Bohemian” ways on display, lie wise words about building up your best self regardless of whether the spotlight is on you.

Nitty Scott, MC’s “Flower Child,” featuring Kendrick Lamar, appears on Scott’s The Boombox Diaries Vol. 1, available now on iTunes.
