Whether he wants to openly admit it or not, “Window Seat” from C.I.T.Y. comes at one serendipitous time. Yesterday 17 people were injured in a shooting during the Second Line Mother’s Day Parade in his native New Orleans and while the man aims to let his music change the mindset of some of the men and youth there, there’s always a tinged of revolutionary beginnings that brim in his lyrics. The Y. Influence produced “Window Seat” is no different, running in that same 100 miles per hour flow that C.I.T.Y. always incorporates when he wants to get something off of his chest. It’s not that he writes to get away, he writes to want to pull everybody out too.

Zion, his follow up to last year’s Death Before Dishonor drops soon.
