Mister Cee On Latest Male Prostitution Arrest: “I’m Not Gay”
In a contentious interview with Hot 97 this morning, station DJ Mister Cee spoke on his recent arrest for soliciting prostitution (May 3). Going to the station to answer more than a few questions from K Foxx, Peter Rosenberg, Cipha Sounds and station program director Ebro Darden surrounding the arrest. He opened by stating “I’m not gay” and refuted the New York Daily News report stating he was not soliciting a male undercover officer, rather a female one.
“I don’t know why they would change the story,” he offered.
Ebro & Rosenberg continued to grill Mister Cee about his continued string of getting arrested for the same crime in the same area where a high number of transgendered sex workers are and Cee determined it was pure “dumb luck”. Cee revealed that he enjoys prostitutes, that he enjoys “tricking off” on strippers and felt he was addicted to “the quickie” but continued to deny that he wasn’t gay.
The incident was not the first occasion that Mister Cee’s been publicly caught within the confines of the law. In 2011, the 46-year old former DJ of Big Daddy Kane was arrested after allegadly receiving oral sex from a 20-year old male prostitute in New York. He pled guilty to loitering for the purpose of soliciting prostitution and contended that he only did so to protect his Hot 97 family.
“I didn’t feel like the station had my back,” Cee said of his 2011 arrest. “I felt that Ebro, Flex & management had my back … but the rest of the team didn’t have my back.”
Following the end of the interview, Cee suspended himself from the station. Hear the full, hotly contested interview here.
