Life with HBO usually meant watching ‘The Wire’ on a consistent basis every Sunday. Since by all means it is the greatest show in the history of the known universe, there’s always a chance that life will imitate art.

Tavon “Bulldog” White is your Avon Barksdale. There’s no other way to put it. Despite being in jail on attempted murder charges, the leader of the Black Guerrilla Family in Baltimore is still running things from the inside, so much so that he’s impregnated four female prison guards, two of whom have his named tattooed on them.

In total, 13 female correctional officers, twenty-five people in total were indicted on racketeering and drug charges for an operation that yielded over $1,000 for an ounce of marijuana and up to over $16,000 a month according to prosecutors.

If that’s not enough, White is quoted in court documents as saying, “This is my jail. I’m dead serious. … I make every final call in this jail … and nothing go past me, everything come to me.”
