Lauryn Hill got another break in her tax case on Monday. The ex-Fugees star was given a two week extension to pay up her debt of $504,000 in back taxes to the IRS or spend time inside the belly of the beast. Raising the funds however might not be that hard for Hill who reportedly signed a $1 million deal with Sony Music to record five new songs and earn extra monies if she were to record a new album.

In other words, thank the IRS because it might be the only way we get new music from Lauryn on a consistent basis.
