The Urban Daily is reporting that more bad news with the law and its legalities may be headed Lauryn Hill’s way. The former Fugees star and Miseducation singer had been renting a mansion in South Orange, a New Jersey suburb where she stopped her rent last month. Her landlord then went to court, processed paperwork to have Hill evicted and when the singer didn’t have the monies required to keep the mansion, he went forward with the eviction process.

Deemed a squatter now, Hill has more than just this issue to deal with. She pled guilty to tax fraud in 2012, is facing a term of 3 years in prison. Her sentencing is on Monday.
