Toronto holds many beautiful things. As Canada’s greatest export of talent these days, it’s hard not to cherish T Dot as one of the best things going. It’s also about to snatch up one of Miami’s more emerging DJs and brands. DJ Ohso, an Ethiopian bombshell who also moonlights as one of the city’s best mixers on the wheels of steel finds herself in a tough predicament. Either she goes back to her home country or she does everything in her power to raise awareness not only for her VISA situation but prove she’s more than just a pretty face with big flowing hair and a beanie in the DJ booth.

#KeepMyOhso is a collection of tracks that represent her journey in realizing her dream of becoming a DJ. Songs of uplift such as the acute message of 2Pac’s “Keep Ya Head Up” exist in the same realm as Kendrick Lamar’s “Faith” with BJ The Chicago Kid. There’s helpings of Miami’s burgeoning scene as well as those national songs of pain and perseverence. In other words, no DJ mix about struggle is complete without making sure you have at least one Z-Ro track. Stream #KeepMyOhso below and click the donate link below to aid to the cause to keeping Miami rocking with her sounds and then some.
