Daryl Morey said he wouldn’t take it easy unless he saw “x – clinched playoff berth” by his Houston Rockets’ name in the standings. Neither would James Harden it seems. Last night, Harden poured in 29 points including the final two of the game to lift Houston over their hated rivals down I-10 in the San Antonio Spurs, 96-95 to continue their march towards an eventual spot in the playoffs.

Anybody else want to see these guys in a seven-game series? They don’t do much except average the second most points in the league and would fight you until the very end. Let’s go ahead and give them the “Team Nobody Wants To See In The West” label due to the fact Harden or Chandler Parsons could go off one night and sink a squad.

Still sucks that over half the city can’t even watch this run. Thanks CSN.
