A Virginia rapper has been set to stand trial on charges of malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, possession of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute marijuana after prosecutors say the man had attempted to sacrifice his friend in an attempt to join the Illuminati and further boost his rap career.

Wafeed Sabir El-Amin, 27 was charged with the crimes after attempting to shoot his friend “as his sacrifice”. The bullet ricochetted off the victim’s hand, sending bone and skim fragments to his eye.

Prosecutors hope to tie in an obsession with 50 Cent, the secret society and its ties to the music industry to El-Amin’s crimes as a search warrant found multiple books about the Illuminati along with a pound of marijuana. El-Amin claims he does not remember committing the crime or the entire month of December due to the weed he smoked.
