Roosh Williams - Deja Roo_Times Have Changed_cover

Having spent the entire month of February releasing banger after banger to prepare listeners for the album to come, Roosh Williams is kicking off March by dropping off his much-anticipated deja Roo: Times Have Changed album today. However, in the spirit of “try before you buy,” Roosh is allowing listeners to preview deja Roo in its entirety via his bandcamp page.

Features of both the local variety (in the form of the legendary Scarface and star-rapper-on-the-rise Doughbeezy) and more nationally-known variety (such as Bubba Sparxxx and Action Bronson) variety show up to assist Roosh Williams over the course of Deja Roo‘s 11-tracks. But don’t make the mistake of assuming that features eclipse Roosh on his own project. Indeed, left alone to himself, Williams shines brightly on the epic “Dream Shook” and applies a smooth flow over classic-sounding instrumentation on “The Way I Love You.” What with Roosh set to smash the gotdamn stage with a live version of “Dream Shook” perform at SXSW, deja Roo may give the rapper just the right kind of momentum heading into the annual Austin music showcase next week.
