damian-marley

Musically, we haven’t taken in a slice of Damian Marley since he and Nas dropped Distant Relatives in 2010. Appearing on a selection of Ghetto Youth International’s Set Up Shop, Vol. 1 compilation, the reggae king returns with “Dem Neva Mak It”, a rather upbeat and joyous creation made by his own hands. Syncopated rhythms fill the dancehall tinged cut as Marley drops vibrant verses without a single care in the world. Pure happiness abound here. Stream the track below and pick up Ghetto Youth International’s tape featuring Damian, Stephen & Julian Marley along with Daniel Bambataa on iTunes.
