The legacy of Dilla continues on as word comes from the late producer’s estate that there’s more unreleased material on the way. Back in 2001, Dilla created PayJay Productions Inc. to help him gain royalties from music he had released. The imprint is being revived to release Dilla’s long lost vocal album The Diary with “Anthem” as its lead single. Dilla produced the track along with the B-side “Trucks”, both mixed by Dave Cooley who worked with Dilla while he stayed in Los Angeles.

The Diary is also set to feature production from Madlib, Nottz, Pete Rock, House Shoes, Karriem Riggins and more. For more information on the album, click here and for the “Anthem” single, stream it below.
