Festival season is slowly crawling upon us. After SXSW comes through and sweeps up Austin for two whole weeks, it becomes Coachella’s turn to host some of the best musicians the world has to offer from various genres and generations.

Unlike last year’s version of Coachella in which Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre’s headlining act pretty much became the most talk about moment of the year (complete with a bankruptcy), this year’s version doesn’t seem as powerful or monumental. Blur, The Stone Roses, Phoenix and Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to headline the six-day festival beginning on April 12th with performances from 2 Chainz, TNGHT, Earl Sweatshirt, Janelle Monáe, Pusha T, the xx, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Jurassic 5, Passion Pit, Murs, Beach House, Hot Chip, Grizzly Bear, Moby, Franz Ferdinand, Vampire Weekend, Wu-Tang Clan, Action Bronson, Danny Brown, James Blake, La Roux, Tame Impala, Theophilus London and more.

This year’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival takes place on April 12-14th and 19-21st from the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California. For ticket information check out the official Coachella website
