Video: Ben Cina – Be With You
A year or so ago, Gentleman Jack put on an R&B showcase at House Of Blues. The headliner was Houston’s own Jack Freeman but the undercard featured quite a bit of talent from both Dallas & Austin, not to mention the easy, swaying vocals of Ben Cina. Cina doesn’t sick upon that slightly tired concept of blue-eyed soul but rather good love songs by a guy who’s probably experienced both sides of the pendulum. An in-studio performance of “Be With You” displays some of Cina’s range and obviously begs the question of, “when are we going to get new music from him?”
