In March, a collection of unreleased Hendrix tunes from 1968 & 1969 will be released onto an album entitled People, Hell and Angels. “Somewhere” gives us a glimpse to how the lefty guitarist and arguably greatest man with a guitar pick in recorded history was experimenting with his sound following Electric Ladyland. “Somewhere” balances airy wordplay and elaborate guitar solos from Hendrix with Buddy Miles on drums and Stephen Stills on bass for another psychedelic trip into another facet of the blues.
