Rapsody - Non-Fiction (f. Raheem DeVaughn)

Some of you may remember, back before Rapsody’s The Idea of Beautiful album was making its rounds and FINALLY putting people up on game, that Rap dropped off a stellar track, “Non-Fiction,” featuring the likes of Raheem DeVaughn and Top Dawg Entertainment affiliate Ab-Soul. Not surprisingly, that track is now getting the visual treatment.

Kenneth Price of Price Films behind the lens once more handling direction. And while Ab-Soul’s presence in the video is certainly missed, the visuals for “Non-Fiction” are as classic in style – with Price opting to shoot everything in black and white – as they are in their execution, with images of turntables and Rapsody rocking a crowd and spitting in a booth illuminated by one sole light bulb. 9th Wonder, of course, pops in a few times hoodied-up on the 1’s and 2’s.

Rapsody’s The Idea of Beautiful album, in case you’ve been sleeping under a rock by the way, is out now.
