OutKast To Reunite Over New Version Of Frank Ocean’s “Pink Matter”

On Frank Ocean’s channel ORANGE album, André 3000 delivered one of his best guest verses of the year. Ocean had originally intended for both Dre & Big Boi to appear on the record, marking the first time that OutKast would have a song together in six years. However, according to reports Dre vetoed the idea and opted for the solo feature stating that he “didn’t want the first OutKast record in 6 years appearing on somebody else’s LP.”

Looks like Ocean might get his wish after all.

Big Boi took to tumblr recently to announce he was working on lyrics for the single as well as T.I.’s “Sorry” record. Which is pretty big damn news if you’re a fan of the Mighty O. Both new versions of each respective song are slated to appear in the coming weeks.
