After our own speculation and then some, Los Angeles character Captain Murphy finally revealed himself to who we thought he was all along – Flying Lotus. Who are we to thank for such a thing? Instagram.

Last night, FlyLo was set to perform at Low End Theory in LA and Captain Murphy stated he would be outside waiting in line with everyone else in a glittery cape & hood like something straight from George Clinton’s Parliament wardrobe. Then he emerged on stage and everything we believed, the Madlib/Quasimoto comparisons came true to life. Only he knows whether he’s going to keep this up full time or not.
